SEGUN ARINZE BIOGRAPHY
Segun Arinze is a Nigerian actor and vocalist. He was born in 1965 as Segun Padonou Aina. Segun was born in Onitsha, Anambra State, to Bamidele Padonu, a Yoruba man, and Lydia Padonu, an Igbo woman.
He is the oldest of Lydia Padonu’s seven children. She is a Fashion Designer. He comes from Badagry, which is in the state of Lagos.
He went to Victory College of Commerce in Ilorin, and then he went to Taba Commercial College in Kaduna State to finish high school. He went to Obafemi Awolowo University to study Dramatic Arts.
Segun Arinze is known as Black Arrow because of the role he played in the classic movie “Silent Killer,” which came out in 1996 and was made by the late Chico Ejiro.

He was married to Anne Njemanze, who was also an actress in Nollywood, but their marriage didn’t last long. Renny Morenike, who was born on May 10, is their only child.

Segun began his career as a singer and then an actor. First, he became known for his singing, which happened after the release of his first album, Dream, which didn’t do very well commercially.
He got his start as an actor in Ilorin. Segun is also a coach for actors. He works with the prestigious African International Film Festival to teach the next generation of actors what he has learned.

He was nominated for the Best of Nollywood Awards as Best Supporting Actor –English in 2017.
